The second issue of Figures frames works by architects, artists, and writers alike as alternative models of architectural production. These works are concerned with how architecture is manifested on non-physical sites—how architecture is represented as graphic object rather than as spatial artifact. The authors examine narrative, whether political, ideological, or simply serving to disclose meaning, as an organizing principle in works that function as public exhortations.
Fig. 02 features an introductory essay by Athanasiou Geolas as well as drawings and writing by Dan Wood, Athanasiou Geolas, Oliviu Lugojan-Ghenciu, Thomas Hillier, and Luke Pearson.
