The residential jewel of the Miracle Mile, this 175-unit project, inclusive of 50 live-work units, gives contemporary expression to the area’s Art Deco history.
An urban plaza carved out by the project serves the critical function of unifying an area previously deficient in public open space. The building further enhances the livability of the district with a series of forecourts into ground-level live-work units. These interstitial spaces at once soften and activate the streetscape.
Drawing from the strategies of the Art Deco movement without emulating its style, the building architecture utilizes modern materials, simple geometries and building elements as ornament. An engaging curve draws the user into the leasing lobby, while other building facades feature playful rhythms and unexpected angles.
The wide array of living experiences, including flats, lofts and unique top-level penthouses with private decks, all maximize view opportunities.
Designer amenities surround the south-facing podium-level pool deck, including an alfresco dining room and automated movie screen. A common rooftop terrace affords views of the Hollywood sign, while a linear pet park on the south side of the project provides a buffering oasis.
Through historically sensitive and boldly visionary design, this project links past and present in an innovative solution.
