A renovation of the Old Sorting House in central London to provide accessible facilities for up and coming artists to work and exhibit. Offices, studios, performance halls and exhibition space are all provided as well as a bookshop and a rooftop restaurant and bar. The two key design moves were to penetrate the deep plan with a central atrium and to replace the brutalist facade with a glazing system shaded by a mesh louver system.
