Southside Crossroads Recreational Complex
Graduate Studio Project
With: Joel Mieses (C.L. Bohannon, faculty)
The objective of this project was to create a master plan concept and design for an undeveloped
property in Tallahassee, Florida. After thorough examination of the site and the adjacent areas,
the decision was made to design the site as a recreational complex. The complex would include
active and passive recreational activities, in addition to facilities for organized sports and other activities.
Ideally, in addition to places for leisure and activity, the developed site would provide opportunities for social development and community building, both of which are needed activities in the particular area of the city.
