BIM Services Company Alterpex was tasked with scanning and collecting precise data of the existing conditions of the building. Using advanced 3D laser scanning technology, we captured every detail of the structure, ensuring that all dimensions and features were accurately documented. This data was then used to create a comprehensive set of permit-ready plans, which complied with local building codes and regulations. The final deliverables included detailed architectural drawings that could be submitted for approval, streamlining the permitting process and helping ensure the project moved forward efficiently.
We made
1. Full Interior & Exterior Point Cloud.
This is a digital representation of a building, created by using 3D laser scanning technology. This method captures the exact dimensions of both the inside and outside of a structure, down to the smallest details. With these scans, you get a highly accurate 3D model of the space, showing walls, doors, windows, and even textures or surface imperfections.
This process is great for architects, engineers, and contractors who need precise data to work from. It saves time and reduces errors since you’re working with real-world measurements.
2. On-site Photo Documentation
On-site Photo Documentation involves capturing detailed images of a construction site or building during different stages of a project. These photos serve as a visual record, showing real-time conditions, progress, and any critical details that may need attention.
3. 3D Revit Model and CAD drawings
A 3D Revit model is a digital representation of a building created using Autodesk Revit software. It allows architects, engineers, and construction professionals to visualize and design every aspect of a structure in a three-dimensional space. Unlike traditional 2D drawings, a 3D Revit model integrates all components of the building, like walls, doors, windows, and systems, into one cohesive model.
This model helps teams collaborate better by offering a clear view of how different parts of the building fit together. It also helps catch design flaws early on and ensures that any changes can be quickly adjusted across all project documents.
