the georgia ecological archive is tasked with the
unprecedented challenge of archiving samples of
land and marine life that has has become endangered
due to coastal erosion and human over-development.
a seed bank for the southern coastal habitats
GA.E.A will move to preserve life as the effects
and consequences of global warming emerge.
the design intentionally creates an oversized
sea-side goliath. the purpose meant to serve as a
“life bank” of sorts; a record of endangered and
threatened species that exist on the continuously
eroding shoreline of georgia and the greater
atlantic seaboard.
