WBCM provided architectural design, interior design, construction documents and construction phase services for the renovation of St. John’s Lutheran Church. The purpose of this renovation was to integrate a new accessible narthex entrance while respecting the existing structure and design language. This renovation was also intended to address circulation issues within the narthex between the main sanctuary and the fellowship hall, as well as enhance the building’s thermal performance. To make the project more sustainable, improvements to the building envelope were incorporated, including adding exterior wall and roof insulation to meet current IECC standards and high-performance window and exterior door upgrades.
