4 courtroom Criminal County Courthouse located in El Centro, CA.

Project design sought to 'break up' the archetype of the modern American courthouse layout by exploding the building's interior programmatic elements.  Courtroom volumes are elevated and separated, creating sheltered 'oasis' spaces in between.
