M House

M House

Architecture concept, interior design, furniture design.

This was the first house in the area, no references or any building near by. The concept was created around the need for privacy and the use of natural light. The living room is facing east and south for privacy and use of the backyard while the rooms are in the front part of the house facing south without losing the privacy.

This layout worked perfectly in this location, very functional where the Garage entrance and the Kitchen work as an are to access the dining/living rooms and the bedrooms, the stair case to the studio / terraces was also placed in this area.

The whole house is also very efficient as far as the heating/cooling since is facing south and west with minor openings facing north. The construction materials were carefully selected to make the insulation effective.

While living space the idea, intention, was to enjoy the space and at the same time to make it extendable to the exterior and take advantage of the natural surroundings. Wood panels were added to make the space more comfortable and warm.

The furniture was designed to match the lifestyle, minimal design, yet functional and timeless. We used the best craftsmanship to assure the high quality.

In the end it's a dream house.
