The criteria for this project was to design a modern lighthouse/ residence on the coast of Corpus Christi, Texas. During this project, I was introduced to "Form Follows Function". It was meant to be a tower that would function as a tower but also as a residential place. It was to have all the accommodations of a home such as living room, dining room, kitchen, study room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. However, we were to devise the idea of multiple "form" types as well as utilizing stairs as our main circulation method through the numerous floors. 

The stairs in this building are what made my project become distinguishable among other projects. I had multiple ideas for the type of stairs I wanted to do that would actually work with the design of my residential lighthouse. Spiral stairs are a tedious and rather lengthy process.

Sadly, this project model was destroyed by my roommates my freshman year in college and I didn't get an actual explanation to what happened.
