This project takes place in the city of Chihuahua,we make several studies in the city, analyzing each nursing home and we concluded that the living conditions were not the best, and that many of of the people were forgotten by their families and left in these places, many of these places were adapted or  the buildings that once it's capacity was very small and were extended without prior planning, so that the interior and exterior spaces had no correlation, they also  lacked  natural ventilation and lighting, which these kind of constructions shouldn't be lacking of these kind of elements as they are places of retreat, where you should have an architectural feeling of peace communicable to the user. In the design process we sought for this sense of peace for the user and with the site and at the same time to feel comfortable with a sense of familiarity with the place so you do not feel alone and forgotten, incorporating a central courtyard which connects the entire building giving it, a sense of belonging to the user as it is for them.
