Named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012, the tropical island of Bali, in Indonesia, faces a massive influx of tourism in the coming years. Its ancient rice fields will be subjected to heavy traffic, thus destroying the sacred landscape. The studio dealt with these issues and designed interventions which dealt with protecting the landscape while allowing visitors to directly engage within it.
