Following an analysis on roof tiling (taken from the Sheats Goldstein Residence in LA California), arose the challenge of complexity in housing, deployed at a site in Troy, NY. Through a study of the tiling, an understanding of natural geometries was obtained, enabling the architecture to be articulated through a curvature akin to the tiles’ composition and arrangement.
