Lafayette Cross Road Church (ASW + Franklin Enrique Garcia)
This is 1500 seating worship facility, which can be configured into multiple venues was completed in 2013. Aside from the programmatic challenges we wanted this facility to become an landmark in the area, facing i10 on its south façade, it was important for this building to have an element to encounter or to "find the path", which is why we decided to elevate a one of its entry point through a medium of translucent panels, which blasts a soft white luminosity that draws the attention to the typical transient driver.

These multiple projects were done between 2005-2010. some of them were built, and some of them were forgotten, nevertheless the concepts and the charrettes were pivotal for the formation of the communities that these were built, and to activate their knowledge of who are the major player when a project like this hits their community.
