Echo Canyon House

In Collaboration with 180 Degrees Design + Build, Echo Canyon is a transformation of a 1970’s era home at the base of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The complete renovation and addition open the residence up to the stunning views.  A new entry gate, “portal” leads to an entry courtyard and into the great room addition.  Interior spaces are organized around this new central hub with separate guest suite and master suite wings.  A large glass wall frames views of Camelback and the new terrace and pool.

Simplified exterior finishes of stucco and steel elements contrast with the rugged terrain.  Naturally patinaed steel frames landscape elements while the main entry “portal” is differentiated using powder coated yellow.  Wood and steel elements highlight interior features.
