Design and construction of a consolidated Airfield Operations Building (AFOB) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower. The Airfield Operations Building is the central command, control, services, and management center of an Army Aviation Complex. The Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower component of the facility is the primary FAA or International airspace interface, controlling all ground and air movement on an Army Aviation Complex. The AFOB and storage structures shall have an approximate allowable gross area of 14,300 square feet. The ATC Tower gross area consists of approximately 8,300 square feet. The combination of the AFOB and ATC results with an AFOB/ATC Facility of approximately 22,600 gross square feet. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $10,000,000 and $15,000,000.
