To improve and extend the overall structure and legibility of the existing campus landscape in Anshun Campus, it is proposed that the landscape renovation be purposefully organized in a pattern of landscape types, including: Civic Landscapes; Street Landscapes; Quadrangles and Courtyards; Connective Landscapes; Parklands; Service and Parking Landscapes; and the Creek Corridor. These types are based on area’s location and its configuration in the campus landscape plan.  There are few guidelines related to development of the various campus landscape types. For example,  develop a variety of diverse Courts, Quads and Plaza landscapes that encourage social interaction and support the public life of the University. Besides, In major public Civic open spaces, Streets, Parklands, Service, and Connective Landscapes, maintain an aesthetic of simplicity, restrained proper institutional scale that supports the overall structure of the campus plan.
