Project manager / project architect on new multi-restaurant dining facility and student commons for Williams Village campus at CU Boulder. Served as liaison between local owner, local consultants and production team at KSQ’s home office in Tulsa Oklahoma. On project from SD through CA.

Reason for leaving: My boss has advised I may be part of an upcoming third round of layoffs.

Project manager in training at a firm that did exclusively large market rate apartment complexes. Clients included AMLI, Wood Partners and Alliance. Also served as in-house architectural photographer.

Reason for leaving: No room for advancement.

During the recession a colleague formed a new architectural co-op of which I was a founding member. Majority of my time was spent on a Catholic church school renovation and expansion project in rurual Texas serving as an assistant to the PM/principal in charge. On project from SD through CA.

Reason for leaving: Job provided limited income during the recession.

Worked in Davis’ commercial urbanism and special projects division on a variety of mixed-use and TOD projects, as well as a LEED spec office building and the 9th and Colorado medical campus redevelopment.

Reason for leaving: The Great Recession.

Studio One Eleven is the boutique urban design division of a large commercial firm. Projects included urban infill, mixed-use, TODs and planning. Hired as an entry level designer and rose to the level of job captain.
