I'm pretty hyped about the lecture series this fall. They all promise to be very relevant and exciting discussions...and what's even more exciting for me is that i may actually have time to attend them!
Good work by the lecture organizers.
All lectures begin @ 7pm and are open to the public.

yes!, bill mitchell...that one might be the first i get to bring a friend. i'm reluctant to drag my non-architecture friends to those archilectures.
i had mario carpo for a class in undergraduate. does research in how technology relates to architectural practice and progression.
never bring a date to an architecture lecture if you plan on ever seeing them again... although wolf prix's personality is probably entertaining enough for the non-architecture crowd.
of the lecturers, i probably know the least about mario carpo, but those lectures sometimes turn out to be the best.
we might be getting steven holl. he's the consolation since zaha dropped out. although, maybe he has too since he isn't listed
zaha bailed again? two times in less than a year is not good.
baha on zaha; this ain't 1999 anyways...
Zaha Schmaha
Andrew Kudless is great, had a class with him a few years ago.
...and hasn't he also been a 'nector on occasion. lots of brownie points for that.
Let me know how the howeler + yoon lecture goes ... :D
i think you meant '89 not '99
wolf prix on halloween. i'm there!
thanks tim! we'll try to keep bringing it next semester. keep an eye out for an email request for student suggestions.
you missed a few on this list: Neutral, Süha Özkan + Mark Foster Gage
