The Stefano Ricci Office and Store design project is located in Shanghai, Nanjing West Road, in the heart of the city. It is a renovation of an existing building with a strong historical value, reinvented as a new store and office for Stefano Ricci.

The office part of the project focuses on the third and fourth floor of the building.

In the third floor there is the main office, which consists in: an open space area for 24 people, two accounting offices for, respectively, 7 and 4 people, two small meeting rooms, and one big meeting room with an outdoor terrace used as relaxing area. It is a reserved area where the employees can relax or take a break. In the fourth floor there are the executive offices of the company:  the President, the General Manager, the Vice President, all the Assistants, the Finance manager and the Internal Control Manager have their offices here. Outside there is a rooftop with a relaxing area that includes a small bar area. A big meeting room is also placed here, enclosed in a glass box covered by green plants.

The project combines two different concept, dynamism and luxury.

The inspiration for the third floor came from the dynamism of the working environment. The office is a modern space designed to facilitate the working production. We have combined modern materials and modern forms, like the glass light box, with traditional materials like marble, because the existing building presents some historical and traditional forms of architecture (e.g. the columns) that we wanted to preserve.

In the fourth floor we used the concept of luxury, because this floor it is more representative and exclusive. Here the materials we used were marble, stone and fabric. We have also designed some of the furniture using briar, an exquisite wood, perfect to emphasize the importance of the representative space. The rooftop it is quite modern with a strong lounge feeling, which creates a very elegant atmosphere.
