Sphere Packing Pavilion

In this Studio project with Dr. David Gerber, I worked on the algorithm of sphere packing.  It was partly generated from grasshopper, manually edited, aggregated, and manipulated some more. 

The Pavilion is 20' x 40' x 20' High.  With one corner oriented to Due South.

The biggest thing I learned here is that NURBS surfaces of spheres are the heaviest geometry you can possibly make in Rhino.  Which isn't a good thing...
