This is my studio project with Dr. David Gerber at USC from Fall 2011.  It is a 12-story Midrise for the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, at the intersection of Holloway and Sunset Boulevards.  The proposed program is a hybrid between a Talent Agency office space, a health spa, a nightclub, and a certain amount of retail space. 

My concept was to make the form of the building into the Body form, and the exterior skin to be a dress for the body.  Its meant to evoke the images of Hollywood, of fashion, of image, of superficiality.  Yet also, provide interesting spaces that do evoke the depth desired in the human psyche.

This project also took on a significant amount of research into the new plug-in for grasshopper called Kangaroo.  It is a live physics simulation engine for Rhino / grasshopper.
