Skylab Architecture is driven by creativity and possibility designing environments that develop lasting effects on the natural and built environment. Based in Portland, Oregon our practice experiments with how divergent elements play off one another creating an experience that lends itself to continued interpretation and exploration.  

We seek a Hospitality Interior Designer that is highly self-motivated, collaborative and creative with a commitment and passion for interior environments. This role merges Interior Design with Architecture linking strong design talent with branded experience development skills. Comprehensive work experience in all aspects of interior design practice including clear communication, design integration and coordination skills are required.

  • 3 - 10 years progressive experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design or architecture
  • Diverse experience including primarily Hospitality and Branded experience as well as Commercial, Mixed Use Residential are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability creating presentations and confidence communicating concepts
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work within given deadlines to create sophisticated deliverables.
  • Excellent Adobe Suite skills required
  • Experience with Revit, Autocad, PowerCadd preferred
  • LEED accreditation preferred with experience developing sustainable design concepts
