The task was to create a meeting point for a group of urban gardeners in Stuttgart.
The building is shaped in a clean archteypical form, the walls are - despite the entrance - closed. By cutting it into three pieces openings arise and offer place for greenhouses. A gangway straight through the whole building structures each room into main use areas and secondary use areas.
A simple timber frame structure enables a high grade of prefabrication and low costs. The cladding is a dark corrugated metal sheet which contrasts the glass parts.
The project was part of a student competition and designated as honorable mention.
