A proposed rolling hill residence in Tuscany.  The design includes a small 200 square foot detached guest house off of the rear courtyard.  The main house is approximately 1,500 square foot with a 650 square foot basement level with skylights primarily for a home theater and space for a utility / guest room.

The roof of the main house is also a terraced garden space. The central living space is a glass enclosed barrel vault flanked by an inner courtyard in front of the guest house and an outdoor pool / patio. The living space can be opened with large counter balanced overhead doors to provide full cross ventilation. A master bedroom, bath, study/guest room, kitchen and dining with an open sided fireplace surround the living room. A spiral stair connects the living room to the lower level basement.
