This project aimed to explore the black culture especially in US. This is a female small business incubator in Harlem. The modular design allows the space to contain maximum business so that to support female working opportunity. Typical African colors and symbols that can represent their culture is crucial in this design. I have an eating space and performance space on the top floor which is formed by the symbols that represents encouragement to black female on the top floor. Along with the representative colors on the skylight and windows, daylight can bring the encouragement all the way down to the first floor. I also included a children centre in this space to create more possibilities and comfort for females to work.
