Brazil is failing to respond to one of the most serious forced migration crises in decades. The economic and political maelstrom in neighboring Venezuela has forced thousands of people to flee into Brazil in search of food, medicine and basic survival. The self-sustainable building is created for refugees coming from Venezuela mostly and other countries who are looking for a long stay in Philadelphia and develop themselves a better future. And as they plans to stay here for a long time, this building and the people living inside are considered as invasion to the original society. The entire design wants to attract people’s attention on it and make people reconsider the role of refugee in the society.
