My name is Xiao Li, I had study experience for 8 years in different colleges for different majors, they are: Bachelor's degree in the Economics major and Spanish minor in the Unievrsity of Arizona; Bachelor's degree in the Interior Architecture in Rhode Island School of Design. My future goal is to develope a sustainable building system that can utilize pure natural energy that can make a building operate by itself. I had multiple experiences in the architecture design field, graphic design and communicating with the designers from different countries. I'm dedicated to and interested in learning new languages and look forward to gain experiences in working abroad in different countries.
Giant Network Group, Shanghai, CN, Junior Designer
Worked as a junior designer and cooperator with designers from Yabu Pushelburg regarding the new Private building of Giant CEO Mr. Shi Yuzhu. During the internship, I helped translate the language during communication between Giant and Yabu, putting forward design ideas as well as materials application. I also gained new graphic skills and improved communication ability during the visualization of the design proposal to communicate better with Yabu Pushelburg.
Yi Bu Chuan Space Design Studio, Jinan Shi, CN, Design Assisstant
Assisted the senior designer in the studio in drawing the AUTOCAD graphic of a teenager hotel in Beijing, helped managing different layers of AUTOCAD and translate different materials from Mandarin to English. Studied from the senior designer during the visit of the site, learned how was the insulation applied to the interior space during the engineering. Studied how to measure the dimensions of a space and apply pipes, electric wires, and sensors into the wall.
University of Arizona Shen Zhen Alumni, Shenzhen, CN, Graphic Designer
worked together with my colleague from University of Arizona in designing its alumni’s logo in Shen Zhen, Guang Dong; which improved my research ability and understanding of the relationship between the graphic and building. Tried to help incorporate the cultural elements from the Shen Zhen City into the alumni’s logo.

I mainly studied Interior Architecture in RISD including the field of adaptive reuse and exhibition design. I also participated in the Graphic Design studios which improved my 2D graphing skill.
