IKUZE JAPANESE RESTAURANT

A newly opened restaurant as of January 2013 at the MetroCentre Gateshead has showcased EGGER material. A contemporary Japanese restaurant (one of its kind) was looking for a fresh yet earthy design to coordinate with the sushi and tepanyaki cuisine.

The restaurants goal is to provide a relaxed and cosy atmosphere to all their customers, offering Japanese washoku food as well as Japanese cooking fused with ingredients of the West. The use of H1298 and H3386 offers a mixture of colour and feel to the restaurant and adds dimension to the restaurant as a whole. Laminate was used due to its hard wearing and durable properties resulting in an extended life span when compared with using Melamine Faced Chipboard.
