Facilities German Pavilion Expo Milano 2015

21 million visitors came to the Expo Milano, three million visited the German Pavilion.

Whether visitors strolled through the exhibition, sat in the restaurant, washed their hands, or experienced the Be(e) Active interactive show – they were surrounded by EGGER products. The Working Group German Pavilion (ARGE), commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for the Economy and Energy, selected EGGER as a partner to supply its wood-based materials.

These include the flame-retardant Eurolight lightweight board or the synchronised pore surface Feelwood on the compact laminate Flammex which was certified especially for Italian fire protection regulations. After its successful presentation at the world exhibition, the Pavilion leaves no visible traces - dismantling and recycling is part of the Expo sustainability concept.
