This project was a new headquarters for Verizon Wireless. The program included: individual offices, large group offices, conference rooms, a break room and breakout spaces, service rooms, end of trip bike rooms that included lockers and showers, multiple restrooms, copier/supply rooms and a public store. The two-story building has a shade structure on the southern side to allow the sun to enter the building in the winter months but also block the sun from coming in in the summer months. The half circle shape on the eastern side of the building is designed to block the sound of the passing by vehicles, so the employees can enjoy an outdoor relaxation space.
