The development of this transit hub in the core of São Paolo was carried out with the intention of improving some of the current and public mobility problems of the city. The focus was to create a new centrality within the city by means of the rede nition of the topography, street network, public spaces, green network, and the design of the terminal taking into account the location of the perimeter next to the Pinheiros River. This project was meant to enhance and enlarge the safety of pedestrians as well as to expanding the bus and subway services of the city.
