As a designer, I'm constantly revisiting work, attempting to improve upon it, and injecting new meanings into artistic creations. Spaces need to be aesthetically designed with the purpose of solving problems, meeting the desires of its urban inhabitants and impacting the mind, to enable new thoughts to contribute to our structural evolutions. As a dancer, ballet has been an excellent training ground for an architectural career. Dance has taught me about the performance of human anatomy and the relationship between body movement and space. All this media and experiences inspire my creativity and shape my own vision and creative process. Now I am ready to contribute in the professional world.

This program aims to establish a student’s professional education with new forms of thinking and practice and to help students develop a lifelong relationship to their respective fields. Core design studios and seminars in history and theory, computer media, and building technologies in the first three semesters prepare students for the comprehensive architecture project in the fourth semester. This combined design and integrated building-systems course integrates all related disciplines into the single project. The final two semesters are dedicated to advanced-option studios and seminars where students can explore a range of options within all four areas of the curriculum. Students who are admitted with advanced standing enter in semester three of the studio, technology, and media sequence while entering into semester one of the core history theory sequence.
