The community of South Lake Union have been asking for a community center that includes a gym and some classrooms for daycare and other activities. The community center is to be placed on Denny Park, Seattle's oldest public park. There is already an existing building on the park that houses Seattle Parks and Recreation offices. Our team decided to demolish the existing building and create a new, sustainable community and office center that is well integrated with the park.
This Design/Build studio used 3D modeling and time-lapsed videos to demonstrate the building aspect of the studio.
