Context/Program- One quarter floor of a converted Tribeca manufacturing building redesigned as a living working space for a single woman with a brand design firm.

A design studio and apartment for a dedicated workaholic and creative strategist. This project makes real the term work-live. It is, in fact, two spaces, each with its own elevator lobby and entrance, conjoined by a 32 foot long sliding wall. The extruded work space borrows from the centralized living space for its intermittent program of presentation and entertainment, blurring the literal boundaries between the two programs. The most intimate spaces, the master bedroom and the designers private office, are respectively veiled behind concave textured glass walls, one curved and one angled. Their relationship across the threshold of separation is revealed only upon the walls ceremonial opening.
