This 900-square-foot ADU includes a light-filled compact living space with an open living and kitchen area to the south. A low slope roof with wide overhangs protects the facade and deck from sun, rain, and snow. We designed with low-impact materials including cellulose insulation, with an R60 roof, R40 walls, and R20 below grade to achieve a high-performing and environmentally conscious dwelling
