From a young age, I've been captivated by the world of art and design. Pursuing this passion led me to the study of architecture, where I've delved into the intersection of aesthetics and functionality in space. With nearly three years of experience in various architectural firms, I've had the opportunity to immerse myself in the dynamic realm of design. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and clients has not only enhanced my skills but also reaffirmed my dedication to this field.
Currently pursuing my graduate degree, I'm deeply passionate about exploring regenerative design principles and their potential impact on urban environments. My thesis project focuses on proposing innovative solutions for revitalizing urban voids in post-industrial cities, aiming to create sustainable and inclusive communities. I'm eager to continue expanding my knowledge and contributing to the evolution of architectural practice. Ultimately, my goal is to obtain my architectural license and make meaningful contributions to the built environment.
Thomas Douglas Architects, Northampton, MA, US, Architectural Designer
Throughout this position, which spanned the duration of my graduate studies, I delved into a multifaceted role that expanded my understanding of architectural practices and processes. Engaging with local architectural regulations and codes, I assisted in the design phase by ensuring compliance and adherence to legal standards.
