In the heart of Philadelphia's Main Line, the owners of the Colonial-style farmhouse were looking to expand in order to accommodate their growing extended family. After exploring several options, we settled on a solution to build a guest suite over the existing garage. Their desire was that the addition be in keeping with the traditional Pennsylvania farmhouse style.

Along with the existing two car garage, the board and batten-clad addition included a renovated laundry room, separate wood stair, large bedroom suite with an independent heating and cooling system. Windows were sized and placed to take full advantage of views and seasonal glimpses of the Philadelphia skyline.
