Highpoint Bistro transforms the historical American Bar and Grill typology into a modern gridded space

Located in the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan, Highpoint is an American Bistro with a 2000 sf ground floor and 750 sf cellar. studio vural was commissioned for interior design and architectural services for a 350sf kitchen; 74 seat dining hall, 18 seat bar.

The oak bar counter, classical wood details and exposed brass fixtures illuminate the classic Bar and Grill while a 32' long wood space frame hosting backlight mural boxes by Miles Donovan define a modern bar space, and conceal premium storage.
