With lush greenspace and an array of communal amenities, the new Tommie Hotel is a 200-room luxury boutique hotel in an 11-story building, designed to entice the young professional crowd going out in Hollywood to stay for the night or weekend.
The lifestyle-focused hotel from the Two Roads Hospitality brand caters to artists and entrepreneurs alike, serving as an incubator of ideas, collaboration and exploration. It creates an energetic community connection, engaging with its neighbors, Mama Shelter, Thompson Hollywood, Citizen News and Dream Hollywood.
The Tommie Hotel Los Angeles sits at the intersection of Wilcox and Selma Avenues in Hollywood, adjacent to an existing Mama Shelter hotel. The project bridges a gap in a vibrant neighborhood that is home to several stalwarts of the entertainment industry, including Capitol Records, the historic Pantages Theatre, the Hollywood Palladium, and the Cinerama Dome.
The development includes a 6,000 SF ground floor signature restaurant and conference rooms, as well as a rooftop entertainment deck with indoor-outdoor dining, pool, and fitness center. The entertainment deck features views of the Hollywood sign and downtown Los Angeles, while landscaped balconies and plazas allow guests to enjoy the Southern California climate.
Guests can customize their hotel experience while making the most of each moment, enjoying creative cuisine, lively nightlife, ground-floor retail and a casual rooftop pool terrace with panoramic city views.
The Tommie features a lush ground-level courtyard that spills into an interior bar, lobby, and flexible spaces. A new paseo runs along the eastern side of the building, connecting Selma Avenue to the courtyard, and providing separation from the existing Mama Shelter hotel. The greenscape extends to the roof, where guests are able to enjoy a vibrant social scene set around the pool and lounge spaces.
