Interior configuration of new roof apartment at the northern suburbs of Athens.
Two main areas are created in an open plan space: a living room with kitchenette, wc, office and library space and a master bedroom with walk-in closet, bathroom, office and meditation space. The two main spaces are connected and, at the same time, separated by a both-sides open fireplace, the transparency of which can be adjusted according to family needs and social interaction. At the perimeter of the living area, a library is shaped as a continuation of the wooden roof structure, while open (terrace, shower) or semi-open (walk-in closet) secondary spaces are placed in linear formation. A new staircase is created in order to connect this new roof area to the older apartment below.
