nautilus house -  house with a twist

this sacramento california  lake front courtyard house was designed to enhance living, healing and moving and allow a retired lawyer couple to create, collect and live with art. the home consists of 2 art studio offices, large master bedroom  and bathroom, guest bedroom, and living/kitchen / dining space. every wall is designed to display art with several sculpture pedestals throughout the inside and outside of the home. the house is organized around an central elliptical courtyard with 2 sculptures, each of the owner and each can be seen from separate design studios.
