Summit Elementary School

Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership led a team of three firms in envisioning a new public elementary school  for the Natrona County School District in Casper, Wyoming, which opened in August 2010. LHSA+DP led visioning sessions and design charrettes with the Natrona County School District, the Wyoming School Facilities Commission, local educators, students and community members to create this unique educational facility.The building and site, which include non-traditional classrooms with moveable walls, a ‘village center’ as well as wind turbines and a range of other interactive opportunities, seeks to engage students and make them excited about learning.
