This project introduced the technical aspect of design for a public multi-purpose community center. It features a long span bowstring truss reinverted as a dome. This project is located within South LA in the neighborhood Leimert Park. This two story shed is a new typology reintroducing elements of the historic community. The project focused on providing a wide variety of extracurricular activities for the children and teens in the neighborhood. There are also places for the neighborhood to express creativity in both outdoor and indoor spaces.
