Broadway is an angular intervention through the city of New York, with various bowtie spaces created from street intersections.

Herald Square is one of the most trafficked intersections in the nation. It is a tourist and retail destination, but the location has also become a place which locals attempt to stay away from due to the overcrowding. For my project, I wanted to address the issues of congestion along with enhancing what already exists in the location. The elevated structure will allow for new experiences and views within the historic site.
