The Tides Brentwood

LEED Gold, this five-story apartment building on a prominent corner site, has become a visual landmark in Brentwood, Los Angeles. With its sculptural front facade that mimics the nearby ocean tides, it animates the entire area. Discrete use of bold yellow, orange and blues celebrate the free-spirited and irreverent personality of the city. Vertical aluminum struts at the wide balconies mimic the thin palm trees on site, while fiber cement cladding provides a very durable and resilient material.
