Domus Academy was set-up in Milan in 1982 as an open-project and a reference center for Italian Design and Fashion.
Over the years, DA gradually became a school in the ordinary sense of the term.
Today it is both a post-graduate training center and a research laboratory that studies Design processes, scenarios of aesthetics and consumption, space and time relations, public and private services and the radical changes originated from the widespread use of the Web. DA has always maintained close links with Italy, but has chosen to operate internationally in order to enrich, promote and update the Design culture.
