In December I completed my Masters of Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis.
My background is in Fine Arts; I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Boston University. My studies and continued love for art makes me a better architect, while my career in architecture makes me a better artist. I believe the two cannot be considered separate. While I intend to pursue a career as an architect, I will always be an artist.
I take every opportunity given to travel. Studies both domestically (Boston, St. Louis) as well as internationally (Venice, Helsinki, Buenos Aires) have added greatly to my education. As an architect, seeing how others live is not only essential in order to design for other cultures, but also key in understanding your own.
