The project is based on my house in China. I have lived in this house for almost twenty years. Since it is a house located in front of a school, almost all the occupants of the building are students and parents of the school, and almost all of them are also tenants.

Having lived here for a long time, I could easily find problems here as well. The building's occupants are all teenagers, but the whole building does not have a youthful atmosphere, and the common areas in the building have become dirty and unattended due to lack of management.

The students lived a two-by-two life, commuting several times a day from their residence to school. I modified the space on the first to fourth floors into a common space for students and other residents to enjoy, with a variety of functions, hoping to change the status quo where they come home only to eat and sleep, and to activate the space of the whole building.
