This project explores the possibilities of contemporary structures built on historical protected sites, the museum’s site is just a few meters away from the main structure following the axis created between Peralta’s town and the main pyramid, the building acts as link between the outside and the historical site through three parallel rectangular volumes, built with local materials and closely related to the local topography, therefore the building emerges in a discrete way from the terrain so the historic structures have always the right attention but at the same time the museum consolidates a language of its own.
